DOORWAY ARTS ENSEMBLE IS PROUD TO ANNOUNCE OUR NEW PRODUCING ARTISTIC DIRECTOR:

MATT RIPA

Matt comes to the position with a large background in new play development. As a freelance director, Matt had directed many productions and readings of new plays in the DC Metro area. Matt is also one of the producers of the DC Queer Theatre Festival. Through a grant with the Creative Community Fund, Matt participated in the Artistic Blind Dates program in the 2010 Source Festival. Most recently, Ripa helmed the successful premiere production of We Tiresias at the Capital Fringe Festival.
